Dr. Litsey was born and raised in Atlanta, GA. She attended Centenary College of Louisiana for her undergraduate studies. There she competed on the gymnastics team. She received her medical degree at Medical College of Georgia and completed pediatric residency at Medical University of South Carolina. She is board- certified and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Dr. Litsey has special interests in preventive medicine and mental health. Dr. Litsey and husband, Jed, who is a local family physician, enjoy spending time with their two daughters, Ellie and Cora.
