Sarah Bertram grew up in North Carolina and attended Davidson College where she received her B.S. in biology. After spending time in Zambia, she attended the University of Kentucky's accelerated BSN program.

She has cared for patients at Kentucky Children's Hospital and MUSC Children's Hospital as a Pediatric Oncology/Hematology nurse. Sarah completed her Doctorate of Nursing Practice at MUSC and is certified by the PNCB as a CPNP. She is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her two dogs (Emma and Roscoe) and going to the beach.
