Joan Tufts graduated from the Medical College of Pennsylvania. She received her MSN from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and there certified as a PNP. She has practiced across several states during her journey with her husband, Adam, who is now retired from the United States Air Force. Joan brings a variety of experience with her. She has practiced in pediatrics, oncology, infectious disease, medical surgical and as a school nurse.

Joan and her family have decided to retire here in Charleston after her husband's 24 year career with USAF and have just finished building our forever home. She and her husband have three children. Joan comes from a large family, she is number 10 of 12 children. In her spare time, Joan loves boating, anything creative or artistic and spending time with her family.
