She is a bilingual, ANCC board-certified family nurse practitioner with 21 years in healthcare and 13 as an NP.

She focuses on family-centered, evidence-based care with interests in integrative medicine, newborn and adolescent care, and preventive wellness.

Bio and Work History

Amy McNamara, MSN, FNP-BC earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Loyola University Chicago and her Master of Science in Nursing from Hawaii Pacific University. She is an ANCC board-certified family nurse practitioner with over 21 years of experience in the medical field, including 13 years as a nurse practitioner.

Amy is bilingual in English and Spanish and brings a strong interest in integrative medicine to her practice. She is passionate about providing compassionate, evidence-based, and family-centered care, while incorporating holistic and preventive approaches to support overall health and well-being.

Her clinical interests include newborn and infant care, helping new parents navigate feeding, sleep, and development, as well as adolescent health. Outside of work, she enjoys tennis and spending time watching her children’s sports. She lives in Bluffton with her husband, a Marine veteran, their three sons, and their Labrador.
