Dr. Colleen Boylston is the founder and owner of Sweetgrass Pediatrics, where she is dedicated to advancing patient-centered care. She earned her medical degree from Creighton University after attending the College of Charleston and completed her pediatric residency at MUSC. Outside of work, she enjoys time with her husband and their four adult children.
Bio and Work History
Dr. Colleen Boylston attended the College of Charleston for her undergraduate education and earned her medical degree from Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska. She completed her pediatric residency training at the Medical University of South Carolina.
As the founder and owner of Sweetgrass Pediatrics, Dr. Boylston is deeply committed to building and leading an organization that delivers exceptional, patient-centered care. She works closely with her team to uphold the highest standards across every Sweetgrass location, ensuring families receive consistent, high-quality care from every provider. Together with her husband, David, who plays an active role in supporting the practice’s operations, she has helped grow Sweetgrass into a trusted, family-centered organization rooted in the community.
Outside of work, Dr. Boylston enjoys spending time on traditional lowcountry activities with her husband and their four grown children—Madeleine, Joseph, Samuel, and Jillian “Poppy.”
