She completed her pediatric residency at MUSC and has practiced in Summerville for 20 years. She provides compassionate care and enjoys family time, running, reading, boating, and college football.

Dr. Lea Schwab was raised in Knoxville, Tennessee, and earned her Bachelor of Science from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. She received her medical degree from the University of Tennessee at Memphis Medical School, graduating Summa Cum Laude, and completed her pediatric residency at the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Schwab has been a practicing pediatrician in the Summerville area for 20 years, with a particular love for caring for babies and children.
Dr. Schwab is committed to providing compassionate, family-centered care and supporting the healthy growth and development of all her patients.
She is married and has two college-aged sons. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, running, reading, and boating, and she cheers for both the University of Tennessee and the University of South Carolina football teams.
