Dr. Mary Kate Tillman

Dr. Tillman earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame and her medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. She completed her pediatric residency at MUSC and is a Fellow of the AAP. Practicing since 1995, she founded Oakbrook Pediatrics and later joined Sweetgrass. She enjoys caring for families and has three daughters.

Dr. Tillman earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana, and received her medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia–Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. She completed her pediatric residency at the Medical University of South Carolina and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP).
Dr. Tillman has been practicing pediatrics in Summerville since 1995 and founded Oakbrook Pediatrics. In 2025, she joined Sweetgrass Pediatrics, continuing her commitment to caring for children and families across generations.
She and her husband, Donnie, have three daughters—Erin, Katie, and Anna Claire—and a German Short-Haired Pointer named Murphy. Dr. Tillman especially enjoys watching her patients grow from newborns to young adults.
