Katie Kiesel earned her Bachelor of Science in psychology from the College of Charleston and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from USC Upstate. She later completed her Master of Science in Nursing at the Medical University of South Carolina and is certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board.
Katie began her career as a registered nurse at MUSC Children’s Hospital and has over 10 years of experience in pediatric acute care, followed by more than five years in pediatric primary care. She is passionate about health promotion and maintaining wellness in pediatric populations and is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners.
Katie and her husband, Chris, live in Mount Pleasant with their daughters, Nora and Hadley. She enjoys boating, going to the beach, fishing, tennis, biking, live music, and spending time with her family.
