Kelsie Helton earned degrees from the College of Charleston and MUSC, where she also completed her DNP. A certified pediatric nurse practitioner, she previously worked in pediatric critical care. She enjoys travel, the beach, Gamecock sports, and spending time with her husband, child, family, and friends.

Kelsie Helton earned her Bachelor of Science in public health from the College of Charleston and her Bachelor of Science in nursing from the Medical University of South Carolina. She completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice at MUSC and is certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board.
Kelsie worked as a pediatric critical care nurse at MUSC Children’s Hospital before becoming a pediatric nurse practitioner. She is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners.
Kelsie and her husband, James, welcomed their first child in 2021. She enjoys traveling, going to the beach, spending time with family and friends, and cheering for the Gamecocks.
