Kristen Garrett earned her BSN from West Virginia University and her MSN from UAB. A certified pediatric nurse practitioner, she spent 10 years in NICUs and has practiced in Charleston since 2013. Her interests include nutrition and mental health. She enjoys family time, softball, reading, and the beach.

Kristen Garrett earned her Bachelor of Science in nursing from West Virginia University in Morgantown, WV, and her Master of Science in nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She is a certified pediatric nurse practitioner.
Kristen began her career as a registered nurse, working for approximately ten years in neonatal intensive care units across the country. Since 2013, she has practiced in the Charleston area as a pediatric nurse practitioner, with clinical interests in nutrition, child and adolescent mental health, and childhood obesity prevention and treatment.
Kristen and her husband have four children—Makena, Adelynn, Delaney and Austin. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching her daughters play softball, reading, and relaxing on the beach.
